We are so excited about our Grand Reopening!

Dear White House friends,

As we have all banned together and struggled to get through this pandemic of Covid-19, we were forced to make some difficult decisions. Our first and foremost concern is the safety and health of family and friends. Based on our safety concerns and the high number of guests who had canceling for fear of travel, we had decided on March 18 that it was in the best interest of our guests and our business to close A Williamsburg White House until June 1, 2020. This decision did not come easy and it has certainly left us with a heavy heart. We will be monitoring the situation closely and if this date needs to be extended, we will notify our guests. We are hoping that with a slow opening for all, we can move on and resume life in a new way.

Since we are a family owned Inn, we have always been very strict on our cleaning and disinfecting of our home and guest rooms and will continue to provide our guests with clean, sanitized rooms and guest areas for your safe enjoyment and relaxation.

We have temporarily altered our breakfast seatings to tables of 2 unless you are traveling with other family members. These seating times may vary daily based on our occupancy.

We will offer hand sanitizer and frequently clean all hard surfaced in guest common areas.

Daily freshening of your guest room will be suspended but fresh towels will be available upon request.

We have adequate seating in our Reception Rooms, JFK Library, Reagan Dining Room and our outside Churchill Garden for everyone to kick back and relax with appropriate social distancing for your comfort.

We are anxious to reopen and look forward to having you all back to enjoy our beautiful Inn. Your understanding and consideration are appreciated during these new times ahead, but we hope to see you all very soon to enjoy a relaxing getaway!
