How to spend your visit in Williamsburg

Williamsburg offers a variety of “things” to do.

How you decide what to do depends on the time you have to spend in our town. There is Colonial Williamsburg with its historic homes, buildings and programs which you can easily spend at least 2 full days doing. Then there is Jamestown Settlement with its “state of the art” museum,  3 ships you can tour, the Fort and the Indian Village. Behind the Settlement, you will find the actual Jamestown Island where the archaeological dig is going on as well as a wonderful archearium to tour.  A short drive down Colonial Parkway will bring you to Yorktown Battlefield, Yorktown Victory Center and the Yorktown Riverwalk.

Of course if history is not your interest, Busch Gardens and Water Country is less than 5 miles down the road. Maybe you prefer to golf, have a spa day or shop in over 150 premium outlet stores? Finally, stop at the Winery for your tour and stock up on wine for your cellar!

I haven’t even mentioned the fine restaurants that Williamsburg has to offer or the wonderful shops in Merchant Square.

Maybe just a day relaxing at the Inn, playing some chess, reading a book? Enjoying afternoon wines and snack.

Whatever you trip entails, we can help you plan your itineray when you stay with us, just ask!
