Covid-19 Letter.

Dear White House friends,

As we all ban together and struggle to get through this once in a lifetime pandemic of Covid-19, we are forced to make some difficult decisions. Our first and foremost concern is the safety and health of family and friends. Based on our safety concerns and the high number of guests who are canceling for fear of travel, we have decided that it is in the best interest of our guests and our business to close A Williamsburg White House, effective immediately, until April 1, 2020. This decision did not come easy and has certainly left us with a heavy heart. We will be monitoring the situation closely and if this date needs to be extended, we will notify our guests.

During this time of closure, we are attempting to keep our staff employed and working, with the hopes of avoiding any disruption to their families and their livelihood. We will also be using this time to perform a deep cleaning and paint touch up of our entire property, above and beyond our usual exceptional standards.

If you would like to support us during this extremely difficult financial time, we ask if you need to cancel for a future date, to use your deposit towards a future stay instead of a refund. We of course would love for you to make your reservations now for the coming spring, summer and fall. Your deposits will help keep the business afloat so that we can continue to keep our staff paid at normal hours and wages. These are uncertain times and things are changing by the hour, but we have faith that this pandemic will pass and we will return to life as we once knew it. We look forward to seeing you all very soon and sharing in the comfort of this great Old Estate and beautiful town of Williamsburg.

Thank you for your support and help during this difficult time. Please feel free to call in with any questions or to make a reservation for the coming months after this crisis is behind us. We are all looking to returning to normal and sharing our beautiful Inn with travelers from all over the world.

Sincerely,
Debbie & John
