Bluegrass, Beer and Barbeque in Williamsburg, Va

by Debbie Keane |

Walk over to the Muscarelle Museum of Art for a fun filled afternoon of great music and fine cuisine at their first annual Bluegrass, Beer, and Barbecue festival during Derby Week on Sunday, May 3rd. This family oriented event will bring together the community for a day of fine craft beer from local Virginia breweries, barbecue sauce tastings, as well as plenty of barbecue to go along with it. We are pleased to feature the musical stylings of local Virginia Bluegrass band, More Perfect Jones , as they will play a mix of traditional and modern bluegrass tunes! Leisurely stop by anytime during the event or stay for the entire afternoon from 1 to 5 PM with good food, music, and friends.

Muscarelle’s first annual Bluegrass, Beer, and Barbecue festival is open to the public, all members of the Williamsburg community, as well as to all W&M students, faculty, and staff. Tickets for adults are $35, $12 for children ages 5 -12, and free for children under 5.

The inaugural festival will take place on Barksdale Field, adjacent to Phi Beta Kappa Hall on the campus of the College of William & Mary.
